Are you considering hosting a concurrent, solidarity event for International Human Rights Day 2012? Whether you are organizing a concert, discussion panel, dove-releasing event, kite-flying, candle lighting or other type of event in rememberance of the victims of war in Afghanistan or to simply come together for human rights and peace, we want to know about it! Fill out the form below and we will put your event on our map so that others in your neighborhood can join.
Just a heads up: all events will be reviewed for appropriateness, and all information submitted will become public.
International Human Rights Day is December 10, 2012. Many organizations all over the world have organized events to celebrate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to voice their desire for human rights to be upheld in Afghanistan. The fully interactive map below includes events organized in collaboration with 2-million-friends to remember the 2 million victims of war in Afghanistan over the last 40 years, and in celebration of International Human Rights Day 2012. By joining an event, you are joining a global community of friends who wish for peace.
